God is our foundation. When the ground beneath us feels uncertain, He does not move. We are not building our lives on feelings, circumstances, or the approval of others; we are building on Him. Today we will stand firm, because what holds us up is unshakable.
📖 Scripture
“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:11 (KJV)
💛 Reflection
Every building is only as strong as what lies beneath it. We often pour our energy into what people can see: our plans, our progress, our appearance. But the part that matters most is the part no one sees, the foundation.
Storms come to everyone. Jobs change, relationships shift, health and finances rise and fall. When our lives are built on Christ, those storms can shake the walls, but they cannot wash away what we stand on.
A firm foundation gives us freedom. We don’t have to hold everything together by our own strength. We can build boldly, love generously, and rest peacefully, because He is holding us together.
🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You for being the solid rock beneath our feet. Forgive us for the times we have tried to build on anything less than You. Search our hearts and show us where we have trusted in shifting sand. Settle us, strengthen us, and help us build every part of our lives on Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
✨ Action
Today, let’s name one area of our lives where we’ve been leaning on our own strength, and invite God into it with a simple prayer before we make our next decision there.
❤️ Heart Check
If a storm came today, would what we’re standing on hold us up?
