⚓ Affirmation
We are held steady because God Himself anchors our souls. Nothing can pull us loose from His love, His truth, or His presence.
📖 Scripture
“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19 (NIV)
🌿 Reflection
There is something profoundly comforting about the image of an anchor. It doesn’t stop the waves. It doesn’t silence the wind. It doesn’t remove the storm.
But it keeps us from drifting.
When life feels unpredictable, when emotions rise and fall, when circumstances shift without warning, God remains the fixed point that does not move. His character is steady. His promises are unshakable. His presence is constant.
An anchor works because it holds to something deeper than the surface.
And so do we.
We are not anchored by our strength, our plans, or our understanding.
We are anchored by His faithfulness, His covenant, and His unchanging love.
Even when we feel tossed, we are not lost.
Even when we feel shaken, we are not abandoned.
Even when we feel weary, we are not drifting away.
God is the anchor that keeps our souls grounded in hope — not a fragile hope, but a firm and secure one.
And today, we rest in that truth.
