🌿 Affirmation
We stay rooted in God, drawing strength, clarity, and purpose from His presence. As we remain connected to Him, our lives naturally point to His goodness, His love, and His glory.
📖 Scripture (KJV)
John 15:5
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
✨ Reflection
When we desire to glorify God with our lives, the starting point is not effort—it is connection. Jesus reminds us that we are branches, not the vine. Our fruitfulness, our witness, our strength, and even our ability to love well all flow from staying close to Him.
When we abide—rest, remain, lean in—His life flows into ours.
When we drift, we start striving in our own strength.
But when we stay connected, His character becomes visible through us without force or performance.
Staying connected looks like:
- Returning to Him throughout the day
- Letting His Word shape our thoughts
- Allowing His Spirit to guide our responses
- Choosing quiet moments of surrender
- Trusting Him more than our own understanding
As we remain in Him, our lives become living testimonies—quiet, steady, radiant. We don’t have to try to shine; His light shines through us.
And in that connection, we glorify Him simply by being who He created us to be.
